It feels like the world has gone crazy for unicorns in 2017, and who can blame us? Magical, colorful, sparkles and whimsy… everything one would look for in a frappucino. Today I’m bringing you some design inspiration with the best unicorn bedrooms I can find. This may be the prettiest post ever? Seven-year-old Elsie would certainly approve!

10 Unicorn Bedrooms Your Child Will Fall in Love with

Multi-colored mural

Remember the Twins’ triangle mural? This wall is painted in exactly the same way, just using unicorn colors instead. The color combo is perfect! And I love the little unicorn on the side table… finishes it off perfectly!

Unicorn Headboards

The inspiration for putting this post together came from these awesome unicorn headboards! They really are the cutest kids decor I’ve seen in a while and I just love this twin girls room! Find out more about these lovely headboards available from Etsy –> here.unicorn bedrooms headboards

Neutral and pretty

A more muted, neutral colored unicorn bedroom, with a unicorn above the headboard and a grey/dusky pink color scheme. The pretty furniture makes this room, giving it that girly, princess magical feel.

While we’re on Unicorn heads…

Anyone that follows my Facebook page Family Decor Obsessed knows I’m crazy for animal heads in kids rooms! So… I just had to put together a round-up of my fave unicorn heads. The photos are links so click to find out more!

 Icecream & Unicorns

I have no idea why there is a link between ice cream and unicorns, but there is… both magical and whimsical, that’s the best I can come up with. This room by Australian designers Petite Interior Co is a gorgeous combination of all things colorful and whimsical. It’s rather fabulous, and if you like the decals on the front of the drawers you can find them –> here.

Gold Polkadots

Pink, grey, and gold… it’s a winning combination, and I love these gold wall decals!  The diagonal split in this unicorn bedroom works really well and it feels like the polka dots are being sprinkled from that top corner. To get your hands on some of these gorgeous decals, check out Rocky Mountain Decals –> here.

Monochrome Unicorn

OK, so not exactly exploding with unicorn frappucino action but I am in love with this wallpaper and the gorgeous unicorn print on the wall. The mint bedding is grown up but pretty… I think this makes the perfect tween room!

Artwork makes unicorn bedrooms easy…

If you’re not ready to take on dipping your kid’s room in unicorn rainbow colors, try sticking to neutral tones and adding some unicorn artwork. Here are my favorites!

Magical Princess Swing

With unicorn bedrooms come magic, fantasy, and sparkle, and this enchanted forest swing does all of this in one swoop. So pretty, suspended from the mural trees behind, love it!

Four Cheeky Monkeys

There are technically no unicorns in this photo, but every space I drool over by designer/blogger Four Cheeky Monkeys gives me a unicorn vibe. It must be the color combo Vanessa uses… turquoise, pinks, purples, yellows. I have total blog crush for her work so go check it out!

Going for Gold

Not your traditional unicorn colors but I think the unicorn head and the gold decor work great together. I love the little window seat / reading nook, and the rainbow bookends are adding to the unicorn vibe!

Sketchbook Magic

Wow… you know I love a fancy mural, and this one is incredible! I believe it’s the handy work of New York based Art & Atmosphere, and the little girl at the bottom is a portrait of the lucky girl whose room it’s in. The theme is emojis but the unicorn and narwhal jumped straight out at me… plus those cacti of course!

That rounds up my unicorn bedrooms frenzy… go skip along rainbows and devour sprinkle covered ice cream while you’re in the zone!
